Thanks for the feedback thus far, Richard & Tom. Tom, unfortunately I don't think I could set the starting lineup at 10 AM each Thursday. I have to keep the lineup times the same in all leagues. I don't know about the Westwood league, but if I did that it would cause a ton controversy in my other PTFG leagues. It would arguably give a slight advantage to those teams who could set their lineup at 9:59 based on the current leader board.

I think it should be left alone. The weekend sub is important in case of no show or injury. Dick Furry

I like the format but sometimes find it tough to make the deadline due to travel, etc. You cant really submit early as the field often changes up thru Weds afternoon. Would like to see a standard 10am Thurs as weekly deadline (except of course The Open).

(con't) Lastly, I should mention changing to one of the other formats will require wiping out all history from prior seasons (standings, trophies, etc.) Please post your thoughts and comments here in the clubhouse. If everyone likes this format and the number of participants we currently have, I'm okay with that too. Thanks!

(con't) Personally, I think the weekend sub is what makes this game so much fun and different from the rest. It keeps you engaged during the weekend. The other option would be to switch to a One & Done format where you simply pick one golfer each week and you can't use him again. That format already exists today so here are the complete rules for an existing league.

John Sico and I are trying to determine if we should make any changes for 2012 in order to grow the league. Does everyone like the current format? John S. thought we might get more Westwood participants if we eliminated the weekend sub. So basically you would just pick 3 starting golfers and let them ride through the weekend. That would require me to make some changes to the website, but I'd be willing to do it if that's what everyone would prefer. (to be continued above)

Just curious to how the Westwood CC members are enjoying the PTFG fantasy golf game? How do you like it compared to other fantasy golf games you've played? Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

If the Golf Staff could remember to enter his weekend sub, he might actually be in 21st overall. Don't forget, you can always submit an auto-sub for your weekend sub. This can be done from the Lineup page. I don't recommend this strategy for every week, but it's better than getting a goose egg.

Hopefully everyone knows they can drop 1 golfer and replace with another before 11 AM EST Saturday free of charge (i.e. no mulligan usage req'd). Everyone should receive an automated email reminder to enter your sub from our system Friday afternoon. You won't see anyone's sub picks including whether they actually dropped a golfer until the 3rd round deadline passes. Note that dropping a golfer on Sunday requires one mulligan usage. Subs earn 1 times earnings while starters get 2 times earnings.
